This activity was taken from the Noggin BuilderZ beginner activity book

This activity for building a swing gets the kids acquainted with the cross and shows how the Noggin BuilderZ fit together and are able to move freely.

  • See how the different pieces fit together
  • Get acquainted with using the cross piece

For the swing you’ll need:

  • 2 spools
  • 2 holders
  • 2 crosses
  • 5 green rods
  • 1 red rod

Start by putting the crosses on the red rod and placing a spool on either end

Use 4 of the green rods to make the spools stand up

Put the holders on the ends of the remaining green rod and attach the the crosses like in the finished picture below

This activity can be expanded by taking kids to a park and showing them how those swings work. Then show them different types of swings like the ride at the carnival or how a hammock swings.

  • colors of rods and other pieces may vary
  • kit contains small pieces and may be a choking hazard,¬†ages 4+
