This activity was taken from the Noggin BuilderZ beginner activity book

A kit for building a toy table fan to spark creativity, thinking, motor skills, and real life application.

Objectives:

  • Learn to make a turning, free rotating module using Wheel.
  • Explore on different method to make a revolving module

 Pieces:

  • 4 blades
  • 1 spool
  • 12 holders
  • 2 wheels
  • 1 red rod
  • 1 green rod
  • 3 discs

Start with the base of the fan by attaching the holders to she spool so it stands, as shown in the picture below

Next, using the green tube, alternate with discs and wheels as shown below, leaving some space between each piece so the wheels can turn and attach the blades

Finally, attach the base and the spinning blades together with the red rod

Remember:

  • colors of rods and other pieces may vary
  • kit contains small pieces and may be a choking hazard, ages 4+
