This activity is for children 3-6 who are learning what it means to estimate and take an educated guess.
1. Build a 3D shape (box, triangle, etc)
2. Pin the cloth around the shape, so that balloons can fit into the shape.
2. Blow up balloons in various sizes.
3. Have the children guess how many balloons they can fit into the shape. Talk about the size of the shape, the size of the balloons and how they fit together when squished. For older kiddos, you might even measure the balloons and the shapes for a more accurate guess.
